Sunday Morning Opportunities

Prayground invites the littlest among us to experience worship upfront in a space designed especially for them. Soft toys, books, and more are available.

Nursery is open during both services if a child needs a little more wiggle room.
Parents are always invited to stay with their child and are welcome to use the nursery during services when it is not staffed.

Activity Bags filled with crayons, coloring pages, and books are available in the Narthex and outside the door by the pulpit. Children are invited to keep busy seated in the pew.

Children’s Message happens at 10 AM worship. Children are invited to the front of the church to hear a message specifically geared for them – the rest of the congregation often participates.

Children’s Church is after the Children's Message, where toddlers to fifth graders leave the sanctuary during the Word part of the worship (Readings, Message, Creed, and Prayers) to worship in an active and engaging way. We meet around a child-sized altar, and our worship is led by the children, who serve as acolytes, crucifers, and readers, with assistance from a teacher. Our Bible story is brought to life through a method known as Godly Play. Children return during Sharing the Peace.
