Sunday Morning Worship Volunteers
Lector Ministry reads the Scriptures in worship demonstrating that the Bible is accessible to all and meant for all of us - just like the grace of God.

Ushers wear many hats at St. Luke’s. They serve as greeters and guides while also covering security and first aid needs as they arise. A training is held to review duties and receive new information about updated procedures. They are always learning and caring for members and friends of St. Luke’s.

Welcome Desk is part of the Community Life Team and a vital part of worship. If anyone has a question, this is the perfect place to bring them.

Worship Assistants lead spoken liturgy, prayers, and assist with communion as needed. All ages are welcome. Training provided.
|
Sound, Camera and Video Techs volunteer their time helping everyone to participate in worship, whether in person or online. No experience needed, training is available.

Live Stream Worship Host welcomes and engages people who join St. Luke’s worship online. Training is available and supported by the Director of Online Worship and Social Media.

Altar Guild prepares the church for worship. The guild cares for the altar area, sets up for communion and baptisms, orders supplies, and changes the seasonal paraments. The Altar guild is responsible for the flowers for Sunday services and does special decorating for the seasons of Christmas and Easter.

Communion Servers are all ages. Communion is offered at every first and third Sunday at the altar rail

Greeters offer a warm welcome to all who come to worship. They are the embodiment of Psalm 118:24, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Dishwashing Team members rotate Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights and volunteer for funerals, and other events. No experience necessary. Training provided.

Sunday Treats are provided by members each week. Schedule is flexible. Homemade and/or store bought. It’s easier to connect while enjoying a beverage and treat.
Sunday Treat Hosts sets up the coffee, water, and treats prior to the 8:30 worship and cleans up after the 10 am. Partner with your friends. |
