St. Luke’s is hosting the Harrison Park Block PartySeptember 26, 4:00 - 7:00 PM - Come and Enjoy!9/22/2026 “…having the goodwill of all the people the Lord added to their numbers.”
- Acts 2:47 Thanks for those who already signed up to support it - Additional Opportunities listed below. As a church we are continuing to do Acts of the Apostles. Yesterday I had the privilege to hear Will Guidara speak at the Art of Leadership Live Conference in Nashville, TN. Will was the co-owner of a prominent American restaurateur best known for transforming Eleven Madison Park into the number one restaurant in the world in 2017. He is the author of the bestselling book Unreasonable Hospitality: The Remarkable Power of Giving People More Than They Expect, which argues that any business can elevate itself by treating customer service as an art form focused on how people feel. Will Guidara expects his entire staff from the Head Chef to the dishwashers and everyone in between to do their jobs with hospitality. He believes that is one of the reasons Eleven on Madison was named best restaurant in the world. He told us, “Yes, the food was extraordinary and the venue was exquisite. But I believe it was about how the entire staff made people feel - before, during, and after the meal.” For the Block Party, the Set up team, Greeters, Food Servers, and Clean up team get to do likewise; along with other members who attend. May St. Luke’s seek to be the number one church when it comes to hospitality, by sharing the goodwill of Jesus which is an Act of the Apostles in our time and place. Thank you to all those who have already signed up to bring supplies, helped flier the neighborhood, and signed up to help at the block party. There is still room for you. Please contact the office by Thursday at 4 PM if you can contribute or help out. And even more so, come. 4:00 to 7:00 PM, this Saturday, September 26 in St. Luke’s backyard. Meet the neighbors. Share goodwill. Enjoy food, games, and more… And have fun doing it. All in Jesus name! Please contact the Office to sign up: 952-881-5801 ext. 103 / [email protected]
