Celebrating 100 years of ministry in Bloomington
St Luke’s will mark an important milestone in 2023, reaching the century mark in it’s history. In 1923, eight charter families began meeting in the backroom of a general store. One hundred years later, the ministry continues.
All current and past members and staff, along with friends and community members are invited to take place in the celebration, which will feature several events throughout the ministry year.

Previous events:
May 22 - We planted a Promise Tree as we look forward to future generations.
June 26 - Former Pastor Mark Schoenhals spoke at our worships.
July 17 - Celebrate Summer Ministries: High School Mission Trips, Camp Wapo, Camp Fire Worship (on Wednesday) and Adult Sailing Trips.
August 28 - 10 AM Outdoor Worship, "Blessing of the Animals and Backpack Blessings"
September 11 - October 16 - 100% for 100 Years, Living our Core Values of Service, Worship, Evangelism, Community, Stewardship, and Discipleship, "Simply what every Church/Christian should do."
Sunday February 26, 2023 at 8:30am and 10:00am
Charter Sunday February 26th which included two festival worship services with the choir, Jubilee, and the Bells of Praise.Almost 200 people signed the Ceremonial Charter which now becomes a part of our documented history.
The children in attendance enthusiastically signed the Alleluia banner.
Folks tasted special treats from recipes of the 1920s with their coffee
Thank you to all who made the morning so meaningful and memorable!

Sunday, June 25 - Former member and now a Pastor, Teleen Saunders will lead worship
