Patrick Lair
Choir Director
Pat has been a member of St. Luke's and has sung with the St. Luke's Choir for nearly 35 years. Now, amidst his active retirement life, he has taken on the joyous opportunity to direct the choir he holds near and dear to his heart.
Pat holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Therapy and Music Education from Ohio University and a Masters of Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine's University. His professional career included stops in healthcare (clinical music therapist in mental health and addictions), organization consulting, financial advising, and higher education (retired from Dakota County Technical College in 2018 as the Director of Student Success).
Pat and his wife Mary have lived 2 blocks from the church since 1988 and raised their two daughters Katelin and Loreena in Bloomington and at St. Luke's. In addition to being a public speaker, performer, and a singer in many different choirs over the years and working part time for the Minnesota Twins, Pat loves to read, hike, bike and spend time at the family cabin on Lake Superior.
